เป็นพื้นที่ที่มีสภาพแวดล้อมทางธรรมชาติที่อุดมสมบูรณ์ ในอดีตแต่ละหมู่บ้านจะใช้เส้นทางทางน้ำในการสัญจรไปมา ซึ่งนับว่ามีเป็นร้อยสาย เพราะลักษณะสภาพพื้นที่ที่เป็นเช่นนั้นทำให้ประชากรที่อาศัยบริเวณที่ราบต่ำประกอบอาชีพทำสวนมะพร้าว ส่วนผู้ที่อาศัยอยู่ในพื้นที่ที่ติดกับทะเลจะทำประมงพื้นบ้านเป็นอาชีพ&#160;
